Wan Wu Sheng Zhang (2015) on Netflix

Plot summary

Qiu Shui is in his twenties, hungry, curious and restless, and the world around him feels a little erotic. He studies at China's top medical college in the 1990s, part of a group of students there, and his knowledge of human anatomy lets him break down men's carnal impulses. That same knowledge gives him no hold on the inner desire that pulls him toward three romantic interests at once. One is a fairy-like hometown first love. Another is a marriageable college girlfriend. The third is a sensuous working woman. The story comes from a novel by Feng Tang.
