Plot summary
Juan-Carlos Asse has trained clients at Zen Fitness in Gainesville, Florida, for more than fifteen years. He combines a whole foods, plant-based nutrition plan with a training program of his own, and he wants to show that the two together can improve a person's health rapidly. Tracy Ryan enters the program believing it is her final chance to shed the weight she has carried and to face health problems she had been putting off; earlier diets did not hold, and the pounds came back when they stopped. Don Blair arrives overweight and tired, with high triglycerides and a worry about Type 2 diabetes.
