Plot summary
Kristi Jones and her gang enter Mafia-run street fights for money to fund her sister's college education. Her sister wants to become a doctor and cover Kristi's schooling in turn. Paul Taylor, an underground fighter nicknamed Stingray, is left by his wife Anna after he rapes her, and he vows to find her. Childhood abandonment issues and the recent trauma cause a psychotic break from reality, and he starts abducting women who look like Anna. Detective Nick DiMarco works the case, and Kristi joins the search for Stingray with his help. Nick may be falling for Kristi. Her sister's psychiatry tutor, Jennifer, and Nick's partner Mike join the effort to track Stingray down.
