- Before Ravi Teja was cast in the title role of Tiger Nageswara Rao, Rana Daggubati and then Nani were each reported to be playing the thief, and both reports were dismissed. Vamsee met Teja in Hyderabad while Teja was filming Khiladi (2022) and the script impressed him.
- Ravi Teja was injured while shooting an action scene for Tiger Nageswara Rao and only returned to filming once he had recovered.
