Plot summary
Kat Ellis lives in New York and travels to London for the wedding of her younger half-sister, Amy, where she is to be maid of honor. The groom has chosen Jeffrey as his best man, and Jeffrey is the man Kat once expected to marry before he broke off their engagement two years before. Kat dreads meeting him again, and she wants her family, and Jeffrey above all, to believe her romantic life is thriving. Rather than arrive alone, she hires Nick Mercer, a charming male escort, to accompany her and pose as her boyfriend for the wedding weekend.
