Plot summary
Hendrik is sixteen, a city kid with no wish to leave the city behind, but his mother moves the family to a remote village in southern Austria, taking him and his younger brother Eddi along. The village keeps its distance from the house the three of them move into. People there say it has been haunted since a woman poisoned her two sons in it many years ago. Eddi begins to sleepwalk, and in his sleep he scratches strange symbols onto the walls. Hendrik, with the friends he makes in the village, sets out to find what the house is hiding.
