Plot summary

Janek is the technician at an Alpine research station, where small teams of scientists come to study global warming. He keeps to himself and does not get along with the current group. Then he and the scientists find a glacier oozing a strange red liquid. The scientists are excited, because the liquid takes root in an animal's stomach and combines the host's DNA with whatever the animal has swallowed, producing hybrid creatures. Janek is wary of the liquid and the danger it carries. A visit from the climate minister is coming up, and Janek recognizes a former girlfriend among the arriving group.
