Plot summary
Babak and Neda Naderi are driving home from a friend's house with their one-year-old daughter Shabnam when the car's navigation system fails and they lose their way. After hours on the road they stop at the Hotel Normandie in Los Angeles. At the entrance Babak nearly comes to blows with an elderly homeless man, who then disappears. The receptionist says only one suite remains and that the doors are locked for the night. Neda wakes to a knock and a voice calling "Mommy," then sees a small child in the hallway who vanishes down the corridor. Babak, woken by Shabnam, prepares a bottle with the receptionist's help and hears about the tragic events the man has witnessed. Outside he sees the homeless man again, and the reflection of a strange woman.
