Plot summary
Inugami Sahei, the head of a wealthy family, has died. His will hands the family fortune to Tamayo, an outsider, on the terms that she take one of the grandsons as a husband: Sukekiyo, Suketake or Suketomo. When members of the family begin to turn up dead one after another, the detective Kindaichi Kosuke is brought in to look into the murders.
