Plot summary
The realtor Ella has been unable to sell an apartment in a Moscow high-rise. A Domovoy, a house elf, lives in it and drives out every new tenant with tricks like a poltergeist, and no one can see or touch him. The flat has gone without repairs for years, so its price sits well below the market. Ella finally finds a buyer in Vika, a divorced mother raising her eight-year-old daughter Alina alone. Before they move in, Ella brings the clairvoyant Fima to the flat to expel the Domovoy with magic rituals. Vika and Alina move in, and the Domovoy does not intend to share the flat with them.
