Plot summary
Shing Lung lives with his grandfather in a remote village, where the older man trains him in kung fu and insists the family skills stay secret. Lung trains half-heartedly, gambles, and picks street fights, showing the very skills he was told to hide. He briefly sells coffins for a proprietor who also deals in used ones, and loses the job when he accidentally traps the man in a coffin. Three thugs he had beaten earlier bring him to their instructor, Tee Cha, who leads the Everything Clan. Tee Cha offers Lung money to train the clan's students and to fight the top fighters of rival schools.
