Plot summary
George Wellington owns a mostly deserted island off the coast of Florida that is said to contain the fountain of youth. A teenage rock band called The Wild Ones and their swimsuit-clad friends, among them Frankie, Nanette and Dodo, reach it in a crowded powerboat under the cover of a scavenger hunt. Wellington is unhappy about the invasion and recruits Junior, his daughter, to remove the visitors; Junior is eager because the island's sole resident, Irving, is the man she loves. Wellington then asks Irving, a botanist who cares more about flowers and his bicycle, to spy on the young people. Meanwhile Irving's twin brother Herman, who works for Wellington, and Camille Salamander, his scheming sweetheart, are traveling to the island with their own plan to find the fountain first.
