Plot summary
After a night out, Tom brings Dan back to his apartment, and Dan realizes he has been there before. Five years earlier the two spent a night together in that room. Tom says that encounter was his first and only experience with a man. Years afterward, his wife receives an HIV diagnosis, and tests show that Tom is positive as well. He blames himself for passing the virus to his wife and blames Dan for passing it to him. Tom keeps Dan bound and gagged in a chair and draws his blood to test his HIV status. A positive result, Tom vows, means he will kill Dan; a negative one means he will release him.
