Plot summary
Morgan Spurlock made Super Size Me, eating only at McDonald's for a month and charting the damage. He received an invitation from Carl's Jr. and Hardee's marketing agency to star in a commercial exposing the chain, only for the script to show the company doing good things. Skeptical that fast food had improved in the twelve years since his first documentary, he decided to enter the business himself and look for the truth from the inside. After consulting CCD Innovation on a business model, he learned that the Big Chicken industry made it hard to buy live chickens to raise on a farm. The five major chicken producers, he found, are Tyson Foods, Pilgrim's Pride, Sanderson Farms, Koch Foods, and Perdue Farms.
