Plot summary
Rohan Sachdev comes from a middle-class background and enrolls at the affluent St. Teresa's College, following his childhood sweetheart, Mridula Chawla, known as Mia. His sports skills win the college over, and he and Mia begin a relationship. He grows close to Manav Singh Randhawa, the current holder of the Student of the Year title, whose wealthy father, Sukesh Singh Randhawa, is a school donor. Manav's sister, Shreya Randhawa, is a popular student who takes an instant dislike to Rohan and insults him. A prank of hers drives a wedge between Rohan and the friends he left behind at his old school.
