Plot summary
Adam, twenty-three, is self-employed and fits security systems. Alice Comfort, a businesswoman, hires him to install one in her flat, and when she comes home she finds him asleep on her roof garden. She asks him to come along to a party in the countryside for her boss, and he agrees. At the party the two have sex. On the drive back Alice hits a stag; while they move the animal off the road, three men from a car she passed earlier get out and attack them.
