Plot summary
Criminal Tick Tock buys a mini-disk taken from the OSS that holds details of a dangerous weapon, Project Armageddon, and agent Marissa Wilson goes after him despite her advanced pregnancy. She delivers a daughter, Maria, and a year passes. Her husband Wilbur hosts a television show that hunts spies, and his twins, Rebecca and Cecil, live with them. Rebecca will not accept Marissa in place of her late mother, so Marissa gives her a red sapphire necklace. When time begins to run faster around the world, a figure called the Time Keeper claims responsibility and demands the Chronos Sapphire, the jewel in the necklace Marissa gave Rebecca. The OSS calls Marissa back to duty and tells her to bring the Sapphire, which widens the gap with Rebecca.
