Plot summary
Jin Tian has been left by her fiancé and has lost her grandmother, Chen Lanxin. Seeking a change of pace, she signs up for a language course overseas and goes to Prague, where her grandmother had lived for a couple of years. Among her grandmother's belongings she comes across a letter from Josef Novak, written in 1970, a man her grandmother once loved. In Prague she meets Peng Zeyang, who is bringing up his young daughter and shares a home with his mother, who has bipolar disorder. As Jin Tian searches for Josef Novak, the two are drawn to each other.
