Plot summary
David is an aspiring meteorologist who serves in the Swedish military, following the path his late father took. After he comes across what is left of his father's work, he travels to a remote island in the Barents Sea, convinced that this is the one place that can explain how his father died. There he is met by odd lights in the darkness, interference on the radio and a hidden cave, and he begins to wonder whether he is truly alone on the island. Then a woman's voice breaks the silence of the radio, a stranger who seems to be trying to reach him.
