Plot summary
Five years after a cursed video surfaced, Akane Ayukawa dies giving birth to her daughter Nagi, and the girl's father, Takanori Ando, keeps his distance, blaming the child for the loss. His younger sister Fuko, a graduate student in psychology, takes over Nagi's care. Nagi keeps to herself at kindergarten and fills pages with disturbing drawings, and people near her die, among them a friend at the park and the passengers of a train. Detective Mitsugi Kakiuchi takes the case, and the disabled former detective Yugo Koiso tells him the deaths are tied to Sadako Yamamura. Fuko raises her fears about Nagi with her psychiatrist, Dr. Fumika Kamimura, and with Takanori.
