Yuki Matsuzaki
Biography
Yuki Matsuzaki is a Japanese actor who began performing as a child in Miyazaki, Japan, appearing in a small theater group that staged shows for children and staying with local productions until he was 18. He then moved to New York City and set out to work in both English and Japanese. Edward Zwick cast him in The Last Samurai (2003), and parts in films such as Drunken Sword and Roku followed. Clint Eastwood chose him for Letters from Iwo Jima (2006), where he played Nozaki. He went on to a co-starring role in the television series Heroes and appeared in The Pink Panther 2 (2009) with Steve Martin and Andy Garcia, as well as Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides and guest spots on Melissa & Joey and The Newsroom. He also acted opposite Eugene Domingo in Instant Mommy.
