Tom Rack

Canadian actor and writer Tom Rack is best known for his turn as the henchman Zigesfeld in the 1991 Bond spoof If Looks Could Kill, which starred Richard Grieco, and for playing the physicist Robert Oppenheimer on screen twice. He trained in Montreal, appearing at the Saidye Bronfman Centre and then at the Phoenix Theatre, the Laurentian Theatre, the Théâtre du Rideau Vert and Centaur, and he did voice-over work for National Film Board of Canada shorts. Early features were The Blue Man (1985), as Dr. Meister, and Toby McTeague (1986), both Genie Award nominees. He had a small role in The Greatest Game Ever Played (2005) and brief appearances in 300 and Jesus of Montreal, played Oppenheimer in Race for the Bomb and in Einstein: Light to the Power of 2, took a supporting turn in Chasing Holden, and voiced many animated series. He also wrote an episode of Are You Afraid of the Dark?
