Biography

Tom McKay is an English actor who trained at LAMDA and built his early career in theater, working with companies including the Royal Shakespeare Company and at the National Theatre, the Almeida, the Royal Court, the Donmar Warehouse and Shakespeare's Globe. Born in Solihull, he began at the National Theatre in Mother Clap's Molly House and later played Brutus in Julius Caesar at the Globe and Jim Reston in Frost/Nixon. He has worked extensively in television, with lead roles in Hatfields and McCoys, an Emmy-winning series, and the costume drama The White Queen, and he plays Mark Preen in Dirty Business. He is known for Henry of Skalitz in Kingdom Come: Deliverance and its sequel, a voice and motion-capture role that brought nominations for a Golden Joystick Award for Best Performer and a BAFTA Game Award for Best Lead Performance. He also appeared in Wrong Turn 3: Left for Dead (2009).
