Biography

Stephen Hagan is a British actor from Belfast who trained at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, graduating in 2007. He grew up in nearby Greenisland and took part in amateur dramatics as a teenager. His first notable stage role came after drama school, playing Vito Barratini in Antony Sher's play The Giant, and he went on to appear in the original cast of End of the Rainbow, in Cyrano de Bergerac opposite Joseph Fiennes, and in several Royal Shakespeare Company productions, among them Twelfth Night, The Tempest and The Comedy of Errors. On screen he has appeared in the Steven Seagal film Against the Dark (2009), Risen (2016) as Bartholemew, A Royal Christmas (2014) with Jane Seymour, and Zoo (2018). Television work includes the BBC drama The Cut and the Sky series Stan Lee's Lucky Man.
