Scott Valentine
Biography
Scott Valentine is an American former actor who trained at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City, completing its three-year program in a year and a half. He moved to Los Angeles and won the recurring role of Nick Moore on Family Ties, a part he played through seasons four to seven. That success prompted three attempted spin-offs: Taking It Home, opposite Herschel Bernardi, which was never filmed; a second project that NBC judged not good enough to shoot a pilot; and The Art of Being Nick, a single episode that aired in 1987 with Julia Louis-Dreyfus. My Demon Lover (1987) was his first major motion picture, and he went on to guest roles in series including NewsRadio and JAG. He voiced The Phantom in Phantom 2040 and portrayed Metallo in Lois and Clark: The New Adventures of Superman.
