Sabine Crossen

Sabine Crossen is an actress and director who is French and American. Born in Béthune, France, she grew up in New Zealand and moved to Paris at age 20, where she trained at the Actorat Dramatic Arts College. Her first feature appearance came in 2001, as an uncredited elf in The Fellowship of the Ring, a Lord of the Rings film. In 2003 she played the killer Kim Lee in Shadow Girl, a French film that won awards at festivals in Houston and Thessaloniki. Between 2005 and 2006 she appeared in French features such as L'Antidote, Brice de Nice, Olé! and Jean-Philippe, and in the short films Surface Sensible and Illusion. Later credits included Car Academy, Hitman and Bienvenue à bord. On television she was a columnist on Hypershow and appeared in Plus belle la vie. Her directing debut, the 2015 short L'amour rend Aveugle, won Best Short Film and Best Director at the Monaco International Film Festival.
