Richard Biggs
Biography
Richard Biggs was an American actor who worked in television and on the stage and became known for two long-running roles. Born in Columbus, Ohio, he studied theater at the University of Southern California on a scholarship. From 1987 to 1994 he played Dr. Marcus Hunter in the daytime serial Days of Our Lives, and from 1994 to 1998 he was Dr. Stephen Franklin in Babylon 5, returning to the part for the final episode of the spin-off Crusade. He went on to appear in Any Day Now and Strong Medicine and had a recurring part as Clayton Boudreaux on Guiding Light. His stage credits included The Taming of the Shrew, The Tempest and Cymbeline. He was a regular on Strong Medicine at the time of his death in 2004, guested on Tremors: The Series, and made his last television appearance on Drake & Josh that year. His career brought him a Soap Opera Digest Award for supporting actor.
