Paul Marco
Biography
Paul Marco was an American actor, born in Los Angeles, who began taking drama, singing and dancing lessons as a child. His first known movie work came in 1944 with a small role in Sweet and Low-Down. In the early 1950s, the Amazing Criswell made a prediction on national television that Marco had a strong future in film and then introduced him to Ed Wood. Marco appeared often in Wood's movies, playing the bumbling, fearful policeman Kelton in the Kelton Trilogy: Bride of the Monster (1955), Night of the Ghouls (1959) and Plan 9 from Outer Space (1957). He depended on Wood for parts and more or less retired as Wood's work moved toward pornography. In Tim Burton's 1994 film Ed Wood, Max Casella portrayed Marco.
