Biography
Miguel, an American singer and songwriter who also produces records, grew up in San Pedro, California and began pursuing a music career as a teenager. He signed with Jive Records and released his debut album, All I Want Is You (2010), which was underpromoted at first but became a sleeper hit behind the single Sure Thing. After Jive folded, he moved to RCA and put out Kaleidoscope Dream (2012), home to the hit Adorn. Wildheart (2015) earned a Grammy nomination for Best Urban Contemporary Album, and War & Leisure (2017) followed, carrying the single Sky Walker featuring Travis Scott. He also acted, playing a Cuban-American gangster in Live by Night (2016), and released Caos (2025), which drew generally positive reviews from critics.
