Matthew Labyorteaux

Matthew Labyorteaux is an American actor who has worked in film, television, and voice acting. Born in Los Angeles, he began doing commercials at seven after he accompanied his brother Patrick to a casting call. His first dramatic role came in John Cassavetes's A Woman Under the Influence (1974), as a child of characters played by Peter Falk and Gena Rowlands. He gained his widest recognition as Albert Ingalls in Little House on the Prairie, a part he played from 1978 to 1983, and for his voice work as Jaden Yuki and The Supreme King on Yu-Gi-Oh! GX between 2005 and 2008. He also starred in the short-lived series The Red Hand Gang and Whiz Kids and appeared in several made-for-television movies. Wes Craven's Deadly Friend (1986) gave him his most prominent film role, as Paul Conway. Later he did voice acting for video games and animated features, along with additional dialogue recording and voice-over in advertisements.
