Lynne Moody
Biography
Lynne Moody is an American actress who built a career in film and television beginning in the early 1970s. Born in Detroit and raised in Evanston, Illinois, she moved to Los Angeles in 1970 and studied acting at the Pasadena Playhouse, later training at the Goodman Theatre and Hull House. Her first screen role came in 1973 in the horror film Scream Blacula Scream (1973). She went on to star as Tracy Curtis-Taylor in the ABC sitcom That's My Mama and as Irene Harvey in the miniseries Roots, a part she reprised in Roots: The Next Generations. Other television work includes Nightmare in Badham County (1976), the serial Soap, and Knots Landing, where she played Patricia Williams. She also appeared on E/R and, in 2000, had a recurring role on General Hospital.

Lynne Moody was the original Jenny Willis, playing the character in a 1974 All in the Family episode, but by the time The Jeffersons pilot aired in 1975 the role had been recast with Berlinda Tolbert.
