Lisa McCune

Lisa McCune is an Australian actress who grew up in Perth and trained at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts, graduating with a degree in music theater in 1990. She was 15 when she first took the stage, playing Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz at the Limelight Theatre. Her breakthrough came in September 1993 as Constable Maggie Doyle in Blue Heelers, a part she played into the seventh season and one that brought her four Gold Logie Awards. From 2007 to 2011 she was in the ensemble cast of Sea Patrol as Lieutenant Kate McGregor. Her film work includes Body Melt (1993) and Little Fish (2005), and she was nominated for an AFI award for the miniseries The Potato Factory. On stage she has played Sally Bowles in Cabaret, Hope Cladwell in Urinetown, and roles in South Pacific and The King and I.
