Les Lannom

Les Lannom is an American voice artist and musician who is also a retired film and television actor. Born in Johnston City, Illinois, he is known for his role as Lester Hodges on the detective series Harry O, which he played from 1974 to 1976, and for appearing as Sergeant Casper in Southern Comfort (1981). He appeared in the miniseries Centennial (1978). He also had a role in Space (1985), another adaptation of a James A. Michener novel. He played a gas station operator in Roots: The Next Generations. He also acted in the film Silkwood (1983). Over the years he made guest appearances on many television series. Later he performed onstage as Detective Brent Randall in Dark Legends in Blood from 2002 to 2006, and in 2008 he played Vince Fontaine in a production of Grease. As a musician, he plays the bagpipes and sings.
