Lauro David Chartrand-DelValle
Biography
Lauro David Chartrand-DelValle is a director and producer who entered cinema in 1989 after competing and teaching in martial arts. Mentored by Master Fumio Demura, he began as a stunt performer and worked alongside action stars such as Chuck Norris, Steven Seagal, Jackie Chan, and Sylvester Stallone. Chuck Norris hired him as fight director on the long-running series Walker Texas Ranger, which sparked his interest in directing. He became a busy action designer and moved into second unit directing on numerous projects, later overseeing action for Steven Seagal's production unit. After director Keoni Waxman recommended him, he made his feature directing debut with the Steven Seagal film Born To Raise Hell. He went on to direct episodes of the series True Justice and began to write, develop, produce and direct his own projects through his company Dream Chaser Productions.
