Laurence Luckinbill

Laurence Luckinbill is an American actor, playwright, and director whose work spans film, television, and the stage. He began on soap operas Where the Heart Is and The Secret Storm and played Glenn Garth Gregory on the ABC series The Delphi Bureau from 1972 to 1973. His Broadway debut was A Man for All Seasons in 1961, followed by Poor Murderer, The Shadow Box, and A Prayer for My Daughter; he received a Best Featured Actor in a Play nomination for The Shadow Box. Luckinbill wrote and performed one-man pieces about Theodore Roosevelt, Ernest Hemingway, and Clarence Darrow, including Hemingway, Teddy, and An Evening with Clarence Darrow, and he appeared in stage versions of Lyndon that he did not author. On screen he acted in The Boys in the Band (1970), Such Good Friends (1971), Cocktail (1988), and Star Trek V: The Final Frontier (1989), and narrated the documentary Moonwalk One (1971).
