Lars Frederiksen
Biography
Lars Frederiksen is an American punk guitarist, singer and record producer, born in the San Francisco Bay Area in 1971. He first drew notice playing guitar with UK Subs on their 1991 British tour, and he joined Rancid in 1993, making his debut with them on the EP Radio Radio Radio. He has made nine studio albums with Rancid, including Tomorrow Never Comes. He also fronts his own projects, Lars Frederiksen and the Bastards, whose self titled debut appeared in 2001, and the Old Firm Casuals, which he founded in 2010. As a producer he has worked with Dropkick Murphys, Agnostic Front, the Business and Swingin' Utters, and he mixed records by GBH and Cock Sparrer alongside Michael Rosen. His screen work includes the documentary The Other F Word (2011) and the voice of Steve Apparent in Live Freaky! Die Freaky!.
