Kerry Noonan

Biography

Kerry Noonan is a former actress who teaches at Champlain College. Born in New York, she grew up largely in Los Angeles, and she is best known for her role as Paula Mott in Jason Lives: Friday the 13th Part VI (1986), a part she only won after the actress first chosen proved wrong for it. Her sole starring vehicle was A Message from Charity, an episode of The Twilight Zone. Her television guest work took in Murder, She Wrote, Taxi, Family Ties, The Facts of Life, St. Elsewhere and Mr. Belvedere, and she later appeared in Knots Landing and China Beach. She helped start the City Stage theater company in Los Angeles, acted in Equity productions across California and Arizona from 1982 to 1995, and worked with South Coast Repertory Theater. She went on to earn graduate degrees in folklore and mythology at UCLA, and later taught at UCLA and at California State University at Northridge.
