Keith Gordon

Keith Gordon is an American actor and director, born in New York City in 1961, who took up acting after seeing James Earl Jones on Broadway in Of Mice and Men. He made his film debut as Doug, the class clown in Jaws 2 (1978), then appeared in All That Jazz (1979), Brian De Palma's Home Movies (1979) and Dressed to Kill (1980), and John Carpenter's Christine (1983), playing Arnie Cunningham. He was frequently cast as a nerd, and his other screen roles include The Legend of Billie Jean (1985), Back to School (1986) and Delivering Milo (2001). He moved into directing with The Chocolate War (1988), which earned him a Best First Feature nomination from the Independent Spirit Awards, followed by A Midnight Clear (1992), Mother Night, Waking the Dead and The Singing Detective. For television he directed episodes of Dexter, House, Better Call Saul and seasons of Fargo.
