Kathryn Pogson
Biography
Kathryn Pogson is an English actress who works in film and on stage. Born in 1954, she was raised in Halifax, West Riding of Yorkshire, and attended Crossley & Porter Grammar School. She appeared in Terry Gilliam's cult film Brazil (1985). She has also appeared on television many times, with roles in We'll Meet Again, Midsomer Murders, and Vera, as well as Foyle's War. On stage, she has performed with the Royal Shakespeare Company in productions such as The Balcony and A Midsummer Night's Dream, and played Ophelia at the Donmar Warehouse. Her role in the 1986 New York staging of Aunt Dan and Lemon earned her a Drama Desk Award nomination for Best Actress. She also appeared in the Royal Court Theatre's The Arbor, among many other theater credits.
