Julian Somers

Julian Somers was an English stage and screen actor who worked prolifically in British theater, radio and film. Born in London, he was appearing in repertory at Croydon by 1934, and in 1937 he appeared at the Embassy Theatre in Jeffrey Dell's Night Alone, acting alongside Alexander Archdale. In 1944 he took the role of the White Rabbit in Alice in Wonderland on stage. The Peterville Diamond (1942) and Caravan (1946) were among his early film roles, and he went on to work as a supporting actor on screen while also working in BBC radio and appearing in West End plays and reviews. In 1952 he joined the West End cast of Raymond Massey's Hanging Judge. He died in 1976.
