Judy Nugent
Biography
Judy Nugent was an American actress who began her screen career as a child, appearing at age six in It Had to Be You (1947) alongside her sister Carol, with the two playing the same character at different ages. Born in Los Angeles, she went on to a regular role on the television sitcom The Ruggles from 1949 to 1952. Supporting parts in mid-1950s dramas followed, among them Magnificent Obsession (1954), Ma and Pa Kettle Back on the Farm (1954) and There's Always Tomorrow (1956). She played Jet Maypen in the Mickey Mouse Club serial Annette and a blind girl in an Adventures of Superman episode. Later work was mostly guest spots on series such as 77 Sunset Strip, Sugarfoot and Rawhide, and she had a recurring role on The Tall Man from 1960 to 1962. She died in 2023.
