Biography

J. P. Karliak is an American actor and comedian known for his voice work. Born in Dunmore, Pennsylvania, and trained in theater at the University of Southern California, he studied voice over with Bob Bergen and made his voice-acting debut in 2008 in the video game Tom Clancy's EndWar, while also appearing on camera in live-action shows such as Ringer and Real Husbands of Hollywood. He voiced Wolfgang in the Skylanders games from 2014 and Wile E. Coyote in New Looney Tunes from 2015 until the series ended in 2020. On film he has played Reese in Batman: The Killing Joke (2016) and the title role in Tom and Jerry: Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory (2017), and he is the voice of the Boss Baby in the Netflix series The Boss Baby: Back in Business. He voices Morph in X-Men '97 and played Gargamel and Razamel in Smurfs (2025).
