John Buckler
Biography
John Buckler was an actor who was born in 1906 and started his career on the Broadway stage in the 1920s, where his work in famous plays such as The Green Hat first brought him attention from critics and audiences. He also appeared in other famous plays of that decade. He later moved into film and was in the cast of David Copperfield (1935), a prestigious production. His other screen credit was Tarzan Escapes (1936), in which he played a greedy explorer in the third MGM Tarzan film, part of the series based on Edgar Rice Burroughs's character and starring Johnny Weissmuller. His promising screen career had only just begun when he died in 1936.
