Joel Palmer

Joel Palmer is an actor whose career began in childhood, when he appeared in Hello Dolly as Lyle the Shoeshine Boy at age three. Commercials for Mattel Toys, Woodward's and Scott Paper followed, and within a year he made his feature debut in Knight Moves. After a principal role in the festival production Swindled, he won his first major part in Morning Glory, acting with Christopher Reeve and Deborah Raffin. His credits grew to include A Child Too Many, Change of Heart, Liar, Liar and The Man Upstairs, while on television he appeared in Street Justice, Madison and Outer Limits, and co-starred on The X-Files, The Commish, Poltergeist: The Legacy and Lonesome Dove. He co-hosted the children's special Hopscotch, guest-starred on Sesame Street, and co-starred in the 20th Century Fox feature Far From Home: The Adventures of Yellow Dog (1995), directed by Phillip Borsos. He starred in the ABC movies Someone Else's Child, Freefall and Seduction in a Small Town.
