Joe Dain

Joe Dain is an actor, screenwriter, and producer who studied in New York, moved to Los Angeles, and made guest appearances on Beverly Hills 90210, JAG, and Las Vegas. He took supporting roles in HBO's Public Enemies, TNT's Sub Down, and the independent film Jacklight, which won the Audience Choice Award at Cannes. While acting, Dain wrote screenplays, but a recurring role on ABC's Port Charles paused that work; he then turned to writing and producing. He worked behind the scenes and joined Wizard Entertainment, which had acquired Full Moon Features, rising from production assistant to head of production. In 2003 he founded Shoot Productions with Jeremy Gordon, later joined by Jason Koren; its films included Gardens of the Night, which premiered at the 2008 International Berlin Film Festival, and Foreign Exchange. In early 2007 he formed Empyreal Entertainment with James Allen Bradley, which completed The Inner Circle and Circle, and teamed with Steve Harris to produce ICE 44.
