Jeannine Riley
Biography
Jeannine Riley is an American actress who trained for two years at the Pasadena Playhouse and started out doing television in Fresno and underwater ballet at a hotel. Guest spots followed on series such as Route 66, The Man from U.N.C.L.E. and The Wild Wild West, along with an appearance on The Virginian in 1963 as Amelia Pryor. She won the part of Billie Jo Bradley on the CBS sitcom Petticoat Junction over 300 other hopefuls and played it for the show's first two seasons, from 1963 to 1965, leaving to focus on movies. Her films include The Big Mouth (1967) and Electra Glide in Blue (1973). She was also a regular on the comedy variety series Hee Haw from 1969 to 1971 and played Lulu McQueen on Dusty's Trail in 1973 and 1974. In 2020 she published The Bolder Woman: It's About Time.
