Jay Huguley
Biography
Jay Huguley is an American actor who came to acting after a career in fashion modeling, having been signed by Wilhelmina Models and working in Paris for labels such as Armani and Valentino. Born in Englewood, New Jersey, and raised in Tenafly, he studied at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute and the Beverly Hills Playhouse. Early television work included guest spots on Walker, Texas Ranger and Providence, and he played Richard Hightower on The Young and the Restless in 2010. He is best known for playing Mark Dixon on Lioness, David on The Walking Dead, Jimmy Ledoux on True Detective, Will Branson on Treme and Whit Peyton on Brothers & Sisters. His films include 12 Years a Slave, Lizzie (2018), Abattoir (2016), Ride (2014) and The Eyes of Tammy Faye (2021), and he won a Best Actor award at the Northeast Film Festival for Sunny in the Dark.
