Jackamoe Buzzell
Biography
Jackamoe Buzzell is an actor and filmmaker whose entertainment career has spanned more than three decades. Born in Rockland, Maine, and raised in Sanford, Maine, he started out doing stand-up comedy in 1986 and has worked both in front of the camera and behind it, as a writer, director, producer and casting director. His screen credits have placed him alongside Oscar winners such as Matthew McConaughey, Jeff Bridges and Stephen Gaghan, and he has appeared in hundreds of commercials, among them spots for Pepsi, Doritos, Ford and Visa. Music ran alongside his acting: he sang and wrote songs for bands including Naked Flesh, Ransak and Daddy Lawless, and Ransak's second CD was produced by Jon Oliva. Daddy Lawless opened for Stranger on the Angry Dogs tour, and he has also sung backup for Brad Paisley and recorded a duet with Lee Ann Womack.
