Garrett Wang

Garrett Wang is an American actor best known as Ensign Harry Kim in Star Trek: Voyager, which ran from 1995 to 2001. Born in Riverside, California, he studied at the University of California, Los Angeles, taking his upper-division electives in theater, and in 1993 he played John Lee in Chay Yew's Porcelain at the Burbage Theater in Sawtelle, Los Angeles. In 1994 he guest starred on Margaret Cho's All-American Girl as Raymond Han, then appeared in Eric Koyanagi's MFA thesis film Angry Cafe (1995) and in Koyanagi's feature debut, hundred percent (1998), which was Wang's own feature debut. He played Chow Ping in the 2005 miniseries Into The West and Garan in the fan production Star Trek: Of Gods and Men (2007). He has moderated celebrity panels at conventions since 2008 and became director of the Trek Track at Dragon Con in 2010.
