Edward Norris

Edward Norris was an American film actor who appeared in more than 70 movies over a Hollywood career of more than 20 years. Born in 1911, he grew up in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and his film work included They Won't Forget (1937), in which he played a character analogous to Leo Frank alongside Lana Turner in her screen debut. During World War II he served as a flying instructor in the Army Air Forces. He started in television in 1951 with two Fireside Theater appearances, and across 12 years in the medium he appeared twice as a guest on Perry Mason, in The Case of the Fiery Fingers in 1958 and The Case of the Tarnished Trademark in 1962. He finished his film and television work the following year with a Third Man episode called Ghost Town. He died in 2002.
